At Boix, we keep improving our machines to meet real packaging challenges. That is why we have expanded the functionality of our MCT-1/TS Top Seal punnet machine with a new upgrade: the Double-Wall Kit. This kit allows you to fold an additional double wall on the canopy (ledge). As a result, the punnet becomes stronger and more durable, even in demanding supply chains.
This upgrade was developed together with a customer in the Netherlands. It was designed to support a patented punnet format. In addition, it helps brands protect products better while keeping packaging efficient and reliable.

In addition, official product documentation highlights key elements such as servo-controlled folding, Hot-Melt glue systems, and production output that can reach high speeds per head (depending on format and setup).
Therefore, adding the Double-Wall Kit is a natural next step. It extends the machine’s capability for brands that need extra strength in Top Seal punnets, especially in fresh produce and food packaging.
